There are many ways to stay connected at Jamestown. We want to make sure that you’re a part of each and every opportunity. You must sign up for each channel to take advantage of all Jamestown has to offer.

Parents are automatically signed up for School Talk as soon as you register your student for school, either online or by filling out the forms in your First Day Packet. If you prefer to access information online, you can use the new ParentVUE to confirm that your contact information is correct. ParentVUE: https://www.apsva.us/family-access-center

The PTA Newsletter is sent out weekly via email. It’s a great way to keep informed about school happenings. It also contains community information that involves our families.

How to sign up: Send a request to newsletter-editor@jamestownpta.org and include your child’s grade level, teacher name, and email address.

When you register or update your student’s information on ParentVUE, you will receive information on how to sign up for the directory. You can also sign up for the Jamestown grocery card fundraising program through this tool.

At the end of each week, the Principal sends out a note to the JES families. This automatically goes out to all families that have provided email addresses to the school.
